Affiliate Disclosure

How this site makes money

Travel Days is free to read and is funded in two ways.

Advertising

We display advertising from third-party networks. Those ads are selected by the
network, not by us, and their presence next to an article says nothing about the
article. We are not paid by any business we write about.

Affiliate links

Some articles contain affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may
earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. Some affiliate
links are inserted automatically by our affiliate partner rather than chosen by the
writer.

What that does and does not change

An affiliate link never changes what we recommend. We do not accept payment for
coverage, we do not take free meals or comped visits in exchange for a write-up, and
no business can pay to appear on this site. If we would not recommend it without the
commission, it does not go in.

The disclosure itself

This page exists so the arrangement is stated plainly and in one place, in line with
the US Federal Trade Commission’s guidance on endorsements and testimonials
(16 CFR Part 255).
